We like to offer personal care and would encourage you to see the same Doctor each time. However many assessments are done by other members of staff and there is increasing availability of direct access to more specialised care through the NHS.  We have inserted a tool below to help you find out who is the right person to see.

Please choose one of the options:

Our Patient co-coordinators can often help to direct you to the right person and offer you administrative support on negotiating the health system.

Appointments are booked 10 minutes apart. We try our best to run to time so if you have multiple issues you want to discuss, please come prepared for your appointment and work out what is most important to you.  Reading about the topic on reliable websites such as NHS choices or is useful.

We offer routine telephone consultations with doctors or nurses, these can be booked via our reception team. We ask that patients ensure they are available at their allotted time to take the call. Messages will not be left on answer machines in order to maintain confidentiality.

There are occasions when a doctor may be delayed by an emergency. We will try to keep you informed of any delay and would appreciate your patience and understanding when this happens.

Same Day Service – Telephone Triage

We provide a Same Day Service for acute medical problems and for patients who feel that they may need to be seen or supported that day.

The Same Day Service is provided by a team of experienced Duty Doctors and Duty Nurses, supported by a Healthcare Assistant.

The Same Day Service runs between 09:00 am and 06:30 pm, Monday to Friday. If you feel that you need advice or support the Same Day please contact our Reception Teams. Our Reception Teams will ask you for a brief summary of the problem or concern. This is to help them direct your call to the most appropriate person. All requests will be triaged by the Duty Doctor or Duty Nurse and they will telephone you back to discuss things further. If the Duty Doctor or Duty Nurse would like to see you, they will arrange for you to come down at a mutually convenient time.
