Welcome to Newton Medical Centre. We are an NHS GP surgery in Bayswater, London. Our dedicated team provides safe and effective healthcare to all members of our local community. Our doctors aim to respond to our patients’ individual needs holistically. We look after a wide range of problems. This ranges from minor ailments to specialist management of long-term conditions. Our GPs and nurses provide clinics covering a wide range of healthcare issues.

Technology now allows us all to understand much more about our health. We have created this website to guide you in the right direction. It will enable you to know what your problem is and who is the right person to see. We can now provide you with online GP services from the comfort of your home. Examples include ordering a repeat prescription, a sick note,Ā  reviewing medical results or cancel a doctors appointment.

Our GP surgery in Bayswater covers aĀ  catchment area, includingĀ  Paddington, Maida Hill, Bayswater, and Notting Hill. ( W2, W9, W10, W11 ). It is easily accessible to all of West London is a short walk from Queensway and its local bus and tube routes.

  • Travel Vaccination

    If you’re planning to travel outside the UK, you may need to be vaccinated against some of the serious diseases found in other parts of the world.

    Vaccinations from the nurses are available to protect you against infections such as yellow fever, typhoid and hepatitis A.

  • Electronic Prescription Service

    The Electronic Prescription Service (EPS) is an NHS service. It gives you the chance to change how your doctor sends your prescription to the place you choose to get your medicines or appliances from.

  • Blood Tests

    A blood test is when a sample of blood is taken by a medical professional for testing in a laboratory. A blood test is when a sample of blood is taken for testing in a laboratory. They allow doctors to identify a diagnosis and follow up on certain conditions. Each blood test is chosen by the doctor for a specific problem and there is no ā€˜general blood testā€™.

  • Obtaining test results

    All test results are seen by a doctor. If any action is needed we will contact you by your preferred contact method asking you to book a Telephone Consultation or a Face to Face appointment with a doctor, pharmacist or a nurse.

  • View your medical records

    In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation, patients (data subjects) have the right to access their data and any supplementary information held by Newton Medical Centre. This is commonly known as a data subject access request (DSAR).
